Dictionary definition: Form is the shape and visual appearance, construction or constitution of an object.

 This image uses the sun to show the shadow of the tree on to the floor. This makes the tree seem to be 3D because in order to have a shadow of an object then the object must be 3D otherwise there would be no shadow made.

 This photograph shows a a staircase shadow that is shown on the building. The shadow makes the stars seem to be 3D and not flat to the wall as it would look if there was not a shadow of the stairs in the picture.

 This image also uses the sun light to create shadows on to the floor. From the shadows we know that the object is 3D because otherwise there wouldn't be any shadows created.

This photograph shows a persons body and bike shadow shown on the floor. The person must be 3D in order for there to be a shadow and so must the bike for the shadows to appear of both the objects.
