definition of reflection used in photography

Dictionary definition: The throwing back of a body or a surface of either light, sound or heat without the surface absorbing it.

This image shows a reflection on water of two swans that have been reflected onto the water. This refection is mirrored.This is because the images and the reflections are identical to each other.

This photo is another example of reflection on water. This image is of a flower and mirrored onto the water. This flower image is very similar to the one above because the flower reflection is also the same to the flower itself.

Another photo that shows reflection on to water. However this image reflects the whole of the image on the water including the background and scenery.The way this reflection is in the image makes the image itself look round.

This last image shows the sunset and a small tree reflected on to the surface of the water. In the reflection you can see the same objects but not the same colours. The sunset colours have not be reflected.
